A Letter to the World about the Sovereignty of God

Dear World,

For over two decades, the Sovereignty of God has been a profound theme in my life, shaping my understanding of His divine authority and its implications for nations. This journey began at 18 when I read the Book of Esther, marveling at how Esther, also called Hadassah, sought God’s will through prayer. Her story ignited a passion for understanding God’s sovereignty, a theme that has woven itself through my life as a wife, mother, and intercessor.

At the Lion of Judah Christian Arts conference, I encountered recurring themes of humility, keys, and the Lion of Judah, resonating with scriptures like Isaiah 6, Isaiah 61, Matthew 16:19, and Revelation 5:5. These passages speak of God’s holiness, His call to service, His authority to bind and loose, and His triumph as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. At the conference, I experienced God’s presence profoundly while worshiping with a scepter adorned with keys, symbolizing His authority. This moment, coupled with a vision over South Bend, Indiana, affirmed God’s call to intercede with His authority for cities, states, and nations.

God’s sovereignty is not only personal but extends to the governance of nations. As Romans 13:1-7 declares, all authority is established by God, and leaders are His servants, tasked with upholding justice, righteousness, and protection for their people. Similarly, 1 Timothy 2:1-4 urges us to pray for all in authority, that we may lead peaceful lives and that all may come to know the truth through Christ Jesus, the mediator between God and humanity.

Since 1990, I have been called to pray for my pastors, church, city, nation, and now the leaders of every nation. This call intensified when I began praying for Donald Trump before his presidency, asking God if he was the leader America needed. Through observing his life, resilience, and leadership, I believe he is God’s chosen answer for our nation, particularly in addressing challenges like open border policies, lawlessness, and assaults on our constitutional values. God has confirmed His choice through answered prayers and symbolic signs, such as the Kentucky Derby horse named Sovereignty, followed by Journalism, signaling God’s authority over narratives that seek to undermine righteous leadership.

To the leaders of every nation: God has delegated authority to you to govern with sovereignty, justice, compassion, and protection for your citizens. Your role is to steward your nation’s laws, families, economies, and values, ensuring they reflect righteousness and build a prosperous society. As Isaiah 61 proclaims, God anoints His servants to bring good tidings, heal the brokenhearted, and rebuild what is desolate, that His glory may be seen in your nation.

To those pushing global agendas: nations and their leaders must prioritize their own people’s welfare, not external interests. Christians worldwide are praying for each nation to fulfill God’s unique vision for them, fostering growth, safety, and ethical governance. As Revelation 21 envisions, God desires nations to shine as unique gems, reflecting His glory in a renewed creation.

This letter is a call to recognize God’s sovereign authority and the delegated sovereignty He grants to nations. Leaders, you are prayed for by name, that you may govern with wisdom, strength, and righteousness. Do not permit lawlessness, lies, or harmful journalism to distort truth or undermine your authority. Instead, champion truth, justice, and the well-being of your people. Let us build nations that honor God’s design, fostering peace, prosperity, and righteousness for all.

In His Sovereign Name,

He is My Righteousness, A Daughter of the Kingdom of God
